EMBEDDED SOFTWARE ENGINEER Location: Karlsruhe, Germany Requirements:
Dipl. Ing. FH/TU/BA Elektrotechnik, Informatik and/or BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science. Solid knowledge of C/C++ and the appropriate development tools; proficiency in software engineering methods and object-oriented development; experience with embedded real-time operating systems such as WindowsCE, QNX or embedded Linux; experience with automotive electronics and multimedia applications; knowledge about networking, MOST, CAN, TCP/IP and about Audio/Video compression technology is desirable; good written and oral communication skills and good English skills.
Responsibilities:
Design of platform independent software libraries for MOST Network, design of low level drivers for MOST Network Interface Controllers, design of Embedded Software for Reference and Demo Devices and Tools for Network Analysis or Chip Test, writing of specifications and API documentation, design of test benches and test-cases, providing software and system design support for key customers.
