CONNECTIVITY PRODUCTS PROGRAM MANAGERRequirements:
Requires a Bachelor Degree in an Engineering or Business Administration discipline. This individual will lead IC and firmware product development programs for our Connectivity Products group from initial concept definition through full production release, responsible for managing team projects involving members from many areas of the organization. In this position you must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrate collaborative team-building skills and the ability to resolve conflicts in a productive manner, with the ability to build consensus among team members.
Responsibilities include:
Evaluation of risks to program objectives
Development of program plans to meet profit, revenue, cost, quality, performance, and schedule objectives
Identification and communication of deviations from existing plan
Report program status to product line and management
Implementation of New Product Launch Process, including the conducting of periodic project phase checkpoint meetings
Manage and document schedules and development of plans
DIGITAL DESIGN ENGINEERRequirements:
Requires a BSEE or equivalent and 2+ years of experience in design engineering, including ASIC design flow, behavioral modeling and testing, logic and circuit design, synthesis, timing verification, chip integration, etc. You should have successfully driven chip sub-blocks through design, verification, test and debug. Knowledge of computer architecture, networking architectures, DSP algorithms, assembly language and/or Perl scripting is desired. You will architect, design and implement digital portions of multimedia and next-generation networking chips. You will contribute to all phases of ASIC design flow, including architecture determination, logic design and synthesis, functional and timing verification, and initial post-silicon testing.
FAILURE ANALYSIS/ISOLATION ENGINEER Requirements:
Requires Bachelors in Technology related discipline. Requires experience in IC fault isolation. Ability to correlate schematics to physical layout and familiarity with wafer fab manufacturing processes. Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to develop, debug, modify, test hardware/software using LabView is required. Functional knowledge of transistors device physics and circuit analysis are also required. Experience in VHDL, Verilog, ATPG, DFT and IC lay-out is desirable.
Tasks include, but are not limited to, developing programs and support software for the new scan, JTAG and BIST and current ATE test analysis, and integrate these into the FA flow to improve time to failure identification. Planning the DFT diagnostics, fault isolations and physical failure analysis needed for root cause analysis using conventional and advanced instruments. Analyzing BIST and ATE test data logs to identify and locate device failures for FA.
PRODUCT/TEST ENGINEER Requirements:
Requires a BSEE with MSEE preferred. Direct product or test engineering experience on related mixed-signal and/or optical products required. This position will perform all aspects of introducing new and existing products into production. Tasks will include design and functional verification, bench and ATE test development, product characterization, reliability and qualification studies, failure analysis, yield enhancement, and other production-related support activities.
PRODUCT ENGINEERING DATABASE ENGINEER Requirements:
Requires a BSEE or BSCS. Database administration experience is a must, with good programming and documentation skills required. Product engineering experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus. In this position you will create databases for product test activities including RMA data analysis, CAPA reports, and device history including shipment and background data from test, assembly and Fab. These databases will ultimately have the ability to automatically send reminders and notifications to engineers for proper disposition and handling of material. You will create automated processes for data collection from all vendors and work with subcontractors to ensure data corruption does not occur. You will manage the data and generate reports for analysis by our Product Test engineers.
SENIOR APPLICATIONS ENGINEER Requirements:
Requires an MSEE or related degree, plus 5 to 10 years of experience in semiconductor applications engineering, telecommunications R&D or related fields. Must have a strong knowledge of fiber optics, optical networking transceivers and measurement techniques. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills are required. Must be experienced with typical lab equipment. SONET and telecommunications testing experience is desired. Experience with design and testing for Electromagnetic Compliance is a plus. Previous customer interface work and technical writing skills are plusses. Experience in high-integration IC support, networking, microprocessors, mixed-signal knowledge, and embedded system design and software expertise are beneficial.
You will provide customer support for current and next-generation networking chips, system-on-chip, and optical transceivers. You will specify and develop world-class technical collateral for products, including product data sheets, technical papers, application notes, training materials, and presentations. Your strong presentation, communication, and writing skills will help when interfacing with R&D, external and internal customers, international standards bodies, marketing, sales, product engineers and test engineers. You must be able to communicate technical information to individuals with different levels of technical knowledge and use your technical knowledge to ask customers appropriate questions. You will perform lab-based design and debug to resolve technical problems encountered by customers. Other duties include working closely with design engineering on next-generation feature set implementations and developing board-level development/test systems. Some travel will be required.
SILICON VALIDATION ENGINEER Requirements:
Requires a BSEE and 5+ years experience in silicon validation, including defining and implementing silicon-level and low-level validation procedures, knowledge of USB 1.1/2.0 protocol and hands-on experience debugging hardware and silicon. Strong hardware background, attention to validation and debug methodology, and experience using engineering lab equipment such as meters, oscilloscopes, and logic and protocol analyzers is also needed. In this position you will perform silicon-level validation of FPGA and silicon to ensure that the design meets all functional and electrical product definition, develop/improve silicon validation plans, debug and analyze silicon designs and issues related to silicon. You will also analyze and document validation results, participate in silicon design and validation board design review meetings and provide failure analysis support.
SOFTWARE ENGINEER Requirements:
Requires a BS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering and 2 to 4 years of related experience in embedded firmware C language programming for microcontrollers. A working knowledge of the 8051 processor is essential, while experience working with Flash Media cards, embedded RTOS, embedded filesystems and USB or other communication protocols is a definite plus. You must have the ability to multi-task and thrive in a dynamic, customer-driven environment.
In this position you will develop embedded microcontroller software for high-volume customer applications of new USB and other communications and A/V hardware platforms. You will contribute to the creation of the required product documentation, design specifications, and software unit and system test plans, as well as participate in the review of design documents and code. You will also assist in the maintenance of existing USB flash media controller firmware.
SQA TEST ENGINEER Requirements:
Requires a technical AS degree or equivalent technical experience. Strong background in software engineering, frameworks testing and test automation driving the overall planning, execution, tracking and delivery of projects required. Strong project management skills and excellent interpersonal, writing and speaking skills needed. Ability to mentor junior team members, providing technical advice and direction. Knowledge of various testing techniques, approaches and extensive practical experience in one of the following platforms: Windows, Linux or Macintosh. Familiarity with a wide variety of test software, various OS setup procedures and ability assemble test computers. Ability to write Visual Basic, Perl, PHP, Dos, C, and/or C++ test utilities to automate testing procedures and familiarity with computer architecture a plus.
In this position you would be responsible for:
Evaluation of the quality of and adherence to software product standards, processes, and procedures
Assuring that standards and procedures are established and are followed throughout the software product life cycle
Assure that all processes have documented procedures.
Monitor processes for Configuration Management, Verification, Validation, and Formal Test.
Writing and reviewing the project plans in order to assure that processes, procedures, and standards identified in the plans are appropriate, clear, specific, and auditable.
Assure software requirements are complete, testable, and properly expressed as functional, performance, and interface requirements.
Assure adherence to approved design standards
Assure a testing verification matrix exists and is kept up to date.
Certify testing is complete and software and documentation are ready for delivery.
Participate in Test Readiness Review and assure all action items are completed.
Assure the performance of a final configuration audit to demonstrate that all deliverable items are ready for delivery.
Evaluate requirements for off-the-shelf assurance tools and internally developed tools for automation of test activities
