MOST® Cooperation MOST – Media Oriented Systems Transport – is the de-facto standard for multimedia and infotainment networking in the automotive industry. The MOST Cooperation is an organization of automakers, automotive systems architects and manufacturers and key components suppliers working to establish and refine a common standard for the evolving requirements of automotive multimedia networking. SD Association The SD Association (SDA) is an open industry standards organization established in January 2000 by leaders Matsushita Electric (Panasonic), SanDisk, and Toshiba, supported by a consortium of over 500 companies. The SDA's mission is to set industry standards for the SD Card and promote its wide acceptance in a variety of applications. The SD Card is a highly sophisticated memory device about the size of a postage stamp. SD Cards stand to revolutionize information, entertainment and communication by putting advanced digital storage technology quite literally at your fingertips. x-D Picture Card Office The xD-Picture Card Licensing Office was established in late 2002 to support the xD-Picture Card industry standard created by Fuji Photo Film, Olympus and Toshiba. The xD-Picture Card, one of the world's smallest memory cards with a potential capacity of 8GB, was initially developed for use in digital cameras. As more widespread applications are being designed, the xD-Picture Card Office provides developers with a license for this advanced memory card technology. This license, which is completed only after passing a compliance test, includes a right to use the trademarked logo and technical specifications.
