x-D
Picture Card Office
The xD-Picture Card Licensing Office was established in late 2002 to support
the xD-Picture Card industry standard created by Fuji Photo Film, Olympus
and Toshiba. The xD-Picture Card, one of the world's smallest memory cards
with a potential capacity of 8GB, was initially developed for use in digital
cameras. As more widespread applications are being designed, the xD-Picture
Card Office provides developers with a license for this advanced memory
card technology. This license, which is completed only after passing a
compliance test, includes a right to use the trademarked logo and technical
specifications. |
