Discontinued Products
SMSC has been supplying semiconductor devices to the Embedded and
PC markets for over 20 years. SMSC continues to focus on supporting
the needs of these markets and will make every effort to support
these products for a minimum of five years.
In the event that SMSC decides to discontinue a product, SMSC's
end-of-life policy is to offer a last-time buy at least one year
in advance of a product's discontinuance. If a last-time buy is issued
on a particular device, customers are given at least six months to
place orders and 12 months from the date of order placement to take
delivery, whenever possible.

These products are no longer being offered for sale, nor does SMSC
provide technical support for them.
