From Stuttgart to Karlsruhe

By Car: From the highway "Bundesstraße B14" take the A8 towards Karlsruhe (Ludwigsburg, Dreieck Leonberg). At "Dreieck Karlsruhe" take the A5 towards Frankfurt/Heidelberg. Take the "Karlsruhe Mitte/No. 45" exit. After taking the "Karlsruhe Mitte" exit, follow the K9657 towards Landau until exit number 6 (Industriegebiet Bannwaldallee). Make a U-turn to get to "Bannwaldallee", and follow this street another 200 meters. SMSC is located on the right hand side in the grey building at 48 Bannwaldallee.

Public Transportation: From the Stuttgart Hauptbahnhof (main station), locate a train heading to the Karlsruhe Hauptbahnhof. Direct connections are available around every full hour. Timetables and more information can be found on the web at www.efa-bw.de. From the Karlsruhe Hauptbahnhof, take Tram 4 going to "Waldstadt" or Tram 6 going to "Daxlanden/Rappenwört". Get off at the Europaplatz stop and change to Tram 1 going to "Oberreut/Badeniaplatz". Get off at the "Bannwaldallee" stop. Walk down the stairs and turn left on Bannwaldallee. SMSC is in the grey building at 48 Bannwaldallee. Trams depart Karlsruhe Hauptbahnhoff every 10 minutes and the trip to SMSC takes approximately 20 minutes. You can also take a taxi from the train station to SMSC. The trip should take approximately 10 minutes.
